Effective date: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what personal information PowerUp Productions LLC (“PowerUp,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit powerupsitecare.com, contact us, or buy a care plan, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to keep it plain and specific. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
The short version
- We collect what you give us (contact form, checkout) and a small amount of technical information needed to run and protect the site.
- We use it to answer you, provide the services you buy, bill you, and keep the site secure.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our host, payment processor and support tools.
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, the service you’re interested in, and your message.
- Checkout and your account: your name, email address, billing address, phone number (optional), your website’s address and current host (optional), and any notes you add. Because care plans are subscriptions, checkout creates a customer account so you can view and manage your plan; we store your account login details (your password is stored encrypted).
- Payments: if you choose to be invoiced, we don’t collect payment details at checkout. If you pay by card, your card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Emails and support: anything you send us by email, support chat or phone.
Information collected automatically
- How you found us: when you use the contact form, it also sends us the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, the page you came from, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. This is held temporarily in your browser’s session storage until you submit the form, and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Site analytics: we use Independent Analytics, which runs on our own server and records pages viewed, referring sites, and general device, browser and location information. It doesn’t use cookies, and its data isn’t shared with an analytics company.
- Email and engagement analytics: our site includes a script from our email platform (Notifuse, hosted on our own news.powerupsitecare.com subdomain) that measures visits and how people engage with our emails and pages.
- Technical and security data: like nearly every website, our hosting and security providers log IP addresses, browser type and request details to deliver the site, prevent abuse, block spam and keep the site secure. Failed login attempts are logged by IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser’s local and session storage):
- Essential: to keep items in your cart, run checkout, keep you signed in to your account, and protect the site (for example, Cloudflare security checks and the spam check on our contact form).
- Preferences: to remember choices like light or dark mode.
- Support and engagement: our support assistant (ThriveDesk) and email platform (Notifuse) may set cookies or use local storage to keep a conversation going or measure engagement.
We don’t use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, the cart, checkout and account pages won’t work properly.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote or proposal.
- To set up, provide and support the hosting, maintenance and other services you buy.
- To process orders, send invoices and receipts, and manage your subscription, including renewal reminders.
- To send service messages, such as maintenance notices, security alerts and changes to your plan.
- To send occasional news or tips if you’ve signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the site, our systems and our customers secure, and to prevent fraud and spam.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to enforce our agreements.
Legal bases (for visitors in the UK and EU)
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide services you’ve bought or asked us to quote for); legitimate interests (to answer enquiries, run and secure the site, understand how it’s used, and keep business records, balanced against your rights); consent (for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Hosting: Hostinger, which hosts this website and its data.
- Security and content delivery: Cloudflare, which delivers the site, blocks malicious traffic, and runs Turnstile, the spam check on our contact form.
- Payments: Stripe, for card payments.
- Support: ThriveDesk, for our support assistant and help desk.
- Email: our email platform (Notifuse) and the email delivery service we use to send order, account and service emails.
- Professional advisers: such as our accountant or lawyer, where needed.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).
Websites we host or maintain for clients
If we host or maintain your website, we may be able to access personal information that your own visitors and customers submit to your site. We access it only to provide the services you’ve asked for, keep it confidential, and don’t use it for our own purposes. For that data, you (our client) are responsible for your own privacy policy, and we act as your service provider (or “processor”).
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Customer, order and billing records: for as long as you’re a customer, then for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Analytics and security logs: generally no longer than 2 years.
- Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe.
When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
The site uses HTTPS encryption, and we keep its software up to date, limit and protect administrator access, block repeated failed logins, and take regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we’ll let you know if a breach affects you where the law requires it.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that’s wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information (we may need to keep some records, such as invoices, for legal reasons);
- export your information in a portable format;
- stop sending you marketing emails (or just use the unsubscribe link).
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. UK and EU residents can also object to or restrict certain processing and complain to their data protection authority. Residents of California, Colorado and other US states with privacy laws can request access, correction and deletion, opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising (we don’t do either), and won’t be treated differently for exercising these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request where the law requires it.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires (usually 30 to 45 days). You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If we decline your request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.
If you have an account, you can update your details at any time from the My account page.
Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
International visitors
We’re based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the US and other countries. Where we transfer information from the UK or EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as our providers’ standard contractual clauses.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, including client sites in our portfolio. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we’ll let customers know by email.
